The house
The Pine Cone is a stately red-brick residence set on 1.2 landscaped acres in Evans, Georgia. A canopy of mature pines affords complete privacy, and the gates of Augusta National are eight miles away.
Five bedrooms and two and a half baths accommodate twelve guests in comfort. Two queen air mattresses with headboards, available upon request, extend the residence to sixteen. The chef’s kitchen is equipped with a double oven and a wine refrigerator. The dining room seats eight. The game room offers an arcade, a foosball table and a 65-inch television. A dedicated office with a door that closes, and fast internet throughout, allow the working members of the party to remain productive.
The grounds are the residence’s signature. Beyond the screened porch, a lit deck opens onto a garden arbor, a game lawn with horseshoes and cornhole, an outdoor bar with a dartboard, and a fire pit. The hot tub steams beneath the pines as the evening sky turns pink. Guests mention the deck by name in their reviews.
The residence is ideally suited to Masters Week, an assignment at Fort Eisenhower, a rotation in the Augusta medical district, or a family reunion of considerable size.
